Solus - Years of Wandering, Compilation of the early recordings (2013)

A Magyar Solus már jó ideje az egyik kedvenc zenekarom. Amikor lehetőségem nyílt rá, hogy beszerezzem ezt a két CD-s összeállítást nem gondolkodtam sokáig. A Nihil Interit Records által 33 példányban kiadott anyag egyszerű, de igényes formát kapott.

Mivel az összeállítás eddig két kiadatlan track-et is tartalmaz ezért ejtek róluk néhány szót. Ezek közül az első a "Beyond The Gates...". Félelmetes, ahogy ez a dal elkezdődik. Rögtön olyan atmoszférát teremt, amitől az embernek az az érzése támad, hogy most szakad le az ég. Vészjósló szimfónia. Erős és magával ragadó. Emiatt az egy dal miatt már megérte megvennem ezt az anyagot. (azért a többi dalról se feledkezzünk el) Mert ezt hallani kell !

A második a "Levitation" ami egy közel 15 perces dark ambient tétel. Nincsen túlbonyolítva, de erre nem is lett volna szükség. Hiszen a dark ambient hipnotikus ereje ezáltal elveszett volna. Az első 10 perc nyugodtan telik el, ami után a záró négy percben teljesedik ki az ami eddig a nyugalom álarca mögött rejtőzött.

The Hungarian Solus has long been one of my favorite bands. When I got the opportunity to obtain the this two-CD compiled does not thinking for a long time. The Nihil Interit Records by 33 copies of material published simple, but it received an consuming form.

But I did not have to have a cavalcade of sounds, because with the dark ambient hypnotic power would have been lost. The first 10 minutes feel free elapse after which the final four minutes, culminating in what has been hidden behind a mask of calm.

Nihil Interit Records
